| MacOS 8.0
includes all the software you need to allow your Macintosh computer to dial
in to Niagara Internet and connect directly to the Internet. The dialup software
can be easily set up using the Internet Setup Assistant, which should
already be installed in the Internet or Assistants folders on your Mac's
hard drive. If it is not, you'll need to install it from your MacOS8.5
installation CD.
You'll need the following information to set up MacOS 8.0
to dial in to Niagara Internet.
Modem Settings
You'll need to know what kind of modem you have (manufacturer and model or
speed), which port on your Mac its plugged into (modem port or printer
port), and whether your phone line has tone or pulse dialing (almost
everyone has tone dialing these days).
Phone Numbers
System Resource has several modem dialup numbers for 56k
access, depending on your location.
