Netscape 7.x Email
Setup
Click on
Start > Programs > Select Netscape. Once
Netscape has started, Click on the Window Menu
and Select "Mail and Newsgroups"
Once Netscape
email starts select the Edit Menu, then Select "Mail
& Newsgroups Account Settings".
In the
"Server Name" text box type in "mail.sysr.com",
Enter in 25 for the Port. In the "Use
name and Password" text box enter your username.
Click on the "Never" circle "Use
secure connection (SSL): Click on "Add
Account" - This will start the Account Wizard
Click in
the circle next to "Email Account".
Click Next.
Enter a
name in the "Your Name" text
box, then enter your System Resource email address
in the "Email Address:" text box.
Click Next.
Click on
the circle next to "POP", then enter
in mail.sysr.com or mail.nisny.com
depending on the domain you are on in both Incoming
Server: and Outgoing Server: text boxes.
Click on Next.
Type in
your User Name in the "User Name:"
text box (remember to type in username in a lower
case). Click Next.
Type in
a name for the account in the "Account Name"
text box. Click Next.
Click Finish
to complete email setup.
